🕯️ Baton of Hope – September 5, 2025

We’ll be carrying the Baton of Hope in memory of Nicola Thyne as part of the UK-wide campaign to raise awareness for suicide prevention.

💬 Women’s Peer Support Groups – 2nd & 4th Saturday of each month at Bathgate Partnership Centre.

🤩 We are hoping to open more groups. 

These are relaxed, safe spaces to talk (or just listen), meet others, and feel less alone.

📍 Free to attend, with tea and snacks provided.

Update from Baton of hope June 2025:

It’s looking increasingly likely that all British companies will be expected to follow a set of new guidelines on suicide prevention in the workplace. The Baton of Hope UK is proud to support this important initiative from the British Standards Institution BSI UK and will soon be submitting its thoughts on the draft standard. We believe this could be an important step forward in confronting the dreadful pain and trauma that has for far too long been ignored.
